For the third time, director Gino Santos helms a movie starring Coleen Garcia.

They previously worked with each other for the Cinemalaya 2014 entry #Y and the 2015 sexy romantic-drama film Ex With Benefits.

This time, Direk Gino helms Love Me Tomorrow starring Coleen, Piolo Pascual, and Dawn Zulueta.

Direk Gino is also one of the directors participating in the 2nd Sinag Maynila film festival. His entry titled Lila that will be screened in select SM cinemas from April 21-26, 2016.

In an exclusive interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Direk Gino describes Love Me Tomorrow by saying, "It's a different kind of love story na coming-of-age. It's a coming-of-age if you're in your fifties, if you're in your thirties, if you're in your twenties."

When asked about the love scene between Piolo and Coleen, Direk Gino recalled, "It was fast. It was a fast love scene."

He said his past movies have already taught him what needs to be done in order to do things smoothly especially when it comes to shooting intimate scenes.

"Alam ko na ang gagawin ko since my last movie was Ex With Benefits and it had a lot of love scenes.

"Alam ko na ang kailangan, how to make your actors feel comfortable in front of the camera.

"It's just being comfortable with your actors and letting them know na hindi ko naman sila babastusin.

"I will make it as classy as possible."

ON LOVE SCENE WITH PIOLO AND DEREK. How did Coleen react when she shot her love scene with her leading man?

"Siyempre, Piolo Pascual, di ba?

"She was excited and nervous at the same time. I told her naman, nag-Derek ka naman," referring to Coleen's love scenes with Derek Ramsay in the movie Ex With Benefits.

"It's another job. It's lying down on the bed," he said with a laugh.

"Me and Coleen, we go way back. Alam ko na when she's comfortable doing a scene or with an actor or not. She tells me naman.

"So far naman, okay naman ang working relationship namin ni Coleen.

"This is our third film together."

Since Coleen already shot a love scene with Derek and Piolo, which one caused her to be more nervous?

"Feeling ko kay Derek kasi that was her first time na mag-love scene talaga.

"She was very nervous but she was very comfortable."

In order to motivate her, Direk Gino gave her important reminders so she can exude sexiness on cam.

"Ang sabi ko sa kanya, alam mo, Coleen, kailangan kapag pumunta ka sa set, kailangan comfortable ka sa katawan mo.

"Kailangan mag-gym ka. Kailangan fit ka. Kasi kapag hindi ka comfortable, makikita sa camera.

"Nag-gym siya and she was comfortable on set."

Which love scenes were more daring: those in Ex With Benefits or those in Love Me Tomorrow?

Direk Gino pointed out, "Ex With Benefits [had] probably the toughest love scenes.

"With Love Me Tomorrow, iba ang love scenes nina Piolo and Coleen. Para siyang nagda-dance with the music. DJ si Piolo so may rhythm yun."

He said this is related to the fact that Piolo's character in the film is a DJ.
