Bela Padilla reunites with Dennis Trillo for Camp Sawi movie

After moving to ABS-CBN, Bela Padilla will be reunited with her former Sa Puso ni Dok co-star Dennis Trillo via the upcoming movie Camp Sawi.

Bela Padilla is working with Dennis Trillo again via Viva Films's upcoming movie Camp Sawi.

The Kapamilya actress posted her photos with her former Sa Puso Ni Dok co-star on her Instagram account last May 29.

Based on her captions, it seems like Dennis will portray the role of Bela's boyfriend in the movie.

This project marks their reunion after playing a married couple in the 2015 biopic Felix Manalo.

In a previous interview, Bela described her character Bridgette as someone trying to move on from a failed long-term relationship by going to Camp Sawi.

Joining Bela in the movie are Arci Munoz and Yassi Pressman.

FUN MOVIE. The three lead actresses believe that the story of Camp Sawi is unique and, as Yassi puts it, “super fun movie.”

Arci seconded, “Fun siya kasi parang wala pang nagagawang ganung story.

“I'm sure maraming makaka-relate.

“At saka 'yon yung tipo na, kunwari, mapapanood mo siya, parang gusto mo talaga na magkaroon ng Camp Sawi.

“Marami kasi ang nagiging brokenhearted. Minsan hindi talaga nakakapag-move on kasi napakahirap naman talaga mag-move on.”

On the other hand, Bela said Camp Sawi is different because it focuses on female characters to relate stories about heartbreak and moving on.

“Feeling ko, first time nating makakakita ng movie na 'yong chemistry between girls ay hindi kailangang katulad ng pinapanood natin dati—isang girl at isang guy.

“Ito, 'yong relationship naman ng mga babae, kung paano sila magtutulungang mag-move on,” said the former Ang Probinsyano actress.

Meanwhile, Yassi looks forward to working with her fellow Viva artists.

She said, “Super saya kasi friends talaga kami in real life. So, parang madali lang i-blend ang mga characters.”
