“This achievement is very special because it is a personal advocacy. TRASLACION is not JUST an LGBT documentary film, it is a film that explores LOVE—from all angles, across genders, race, and religion.
“I really hope that through this achievement, there will be more opportunities to show this film to a wider audience in the hope that when they get to see this—the prejudice, the hatred, the intolerance will somehow transform into mutual respect and perhaps... LOVE.”
“After what happened in Orlando, mas naging meaningful ang trip namin dito sa New York because our documentary film TRASLACION explores the plight that we LGBT couples go through in order to SURVIVE living in a country where RELIGION and the blind allegiance to it bears more weight than mutual respect and LOVE.
“STOP HATE CRIME. Pare-pareho tayong TAO.
Ayon sa website ng SOHO International Film Festival, “the festival celebrates cutting-edge digital technology while honoring traditional forms of storytelling, encourages new and seasoned filmmakers from New York City and around the world to create and send in their fresh and innovative cinematic pieces.”
