Kris Aquino on Star Cinema's lates movie offering How To Be Yours: "I appreciated how much truth Direk Dan Villegas gave the characters of Anj (Bea in her raw, luminous best) & Nino (Gerald showing heart melting vulnerability) that in a relationship we can lose objectivity & feel we've given our all, when actually the other still feels shortchanged."

Kris Aquino fulfills her promise of watching Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson's latest movie How To Be Yours.

The film, directed by Dan Villegas under Star Cinema, tells the story of Anj (Bea Alonzo) and Nino (Gerald Anderson) whose relationship is being challenged by their career goals.

Kris was able to watch the film earlier, August 2, with her son Bimby. She shared her photo with her son, the film's lead actress Bea, and celebrity stylist Bang Pineda after watching the film. Just like her previous post after watching Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza's Imagine You And Me, Kris also mentioned that they watched the film after an ocular for the space of her new business Potato Corner+Nacho Bimby.

Her full caption: "Perfect timing- wanted to check new space for Potato Corner+Nacho Bimby, so we're about to watch How To Be Yours w/ @beaalonzo. ?? #moviebonding"

On a separate Instagram post, Kris shared her thoughts on Star Cinema's latest movie offering. The TV host/actress first pointed out what she liked about the premise of the movie.

The Kapamilya star wrote: "Are you a Choice A or Choice B type of person? If you're an A, it's Love over Career; if you're a B, it's Career over Love. In a perfect world you could easily have both.

"But when you're just establishing yourself, from your mid 20s to your 30s, it's a real dilemma. And that's what #HowToBeYours explores in a very genuine way."

She then commended the director Dan Villegas for bringing out the best in Bea and Gerald in the film.

Kris continued, "I appreciated how much truth Direk Dan Villegas gave the characters of Anj (Bea in her raw, luminous best) & Nino (Gerald showing heart melting vulnerability) that in a relationship we can lose objectivity & feel we've given our all, when actually the other still feels shortchanged."

Kris refrained from sharing too many spoilers and promised to watch the movie again.

She said, "I don't want to say more because the movie is a must watch & I don't want to be a spoiler. BUT, if only to see the unique treatment of how they fell in love by a creatively executed montage of supermarket scenes- I'll watch the movie again just to feel how special the seemingly ordinary is when you allow yourself to trust in all that can be..."

Towards the end of her caption, Kris shared her realizations after watching the film.

She wrote, "Because in the movies just like in real life love is a choice- and being given that choice is where the magic lies. That's my take away from this movie, that we should embrace the moments when that choice, to love & be loved is ours to make."
