Did their personal heartbreak experiences help Andi Eigenmann, Arci Munoz, Bela Padilla, Kim Molina, and Yassi Pressman portray their characters in Camp Sawi?

In the film, they portray five ladies who are trying to move on from failed relationships.

Andi, who plays the role of Clarisse, says she rarely uses her personal experience at work.

However, this one is an exemption to her personal rule, “Siguro nga, dahil naranasan ko na siya, noong ginampanan ko 'yong character, it helped in a way that I understood the person more.

“So, the character that I built for myself, the one that I was going to portray, I knew how to make sure that she would seem real.

“Although, as compared to the others, she's not as expressive.”

Meanwhile, Arci, who portrays the character of Gwen, believes that is possible that actress's personality may be seen in the character she portrays.

Yassi, on the other hand, says she uses her personal experience only when it's needed.

Yassi will be playing the role of the cheerleader named Jessica.

For Bela, she think it's okay to mix personal experience to actor's imagination on the character to be portrayed

She reasons out, “Siyempre, kailangan 'yong character mo, iba siyang tao.

Based on her experience, theater actress Kim says she always try to keep her personal experiences away from the role that she will be playing.

Like Andi, she says, “Oo, na-experience ko na siya in way. Pero personal experience ko po is not that as of Joan's.

Although these actress have different ways of bringing life to their characters, they assure that moviegoers will be able to relate to at least one of their characters in Camp Sawi.

Arci even said, “Ang mga movies naman, di ba, based 'yan sa mga totoong nangyayari sa araw-araw nating buhay.

“At through that, I know na maa-appreciate ng mga tao 'yon.
