Directed by Olivia Lamasan, Barcelona: A Love Untold is scheduled to premiere in cinemas worldwide on September 14, 2016.

Daniel's character Ely is described as "a man whose love remains unfinished" while Kathryn's Mia is "a woman whose life is yet to unfold."

Mia is a young woman who escaped from a painful past in the Philippines and is trying her luck to rebuild her life in Spain.

While in Barcelona, she is shown talking to her family and promised, "I have a chance to make you and Papa proud again."

Ely is also shown working as a tourist guide who gives a brief backgound of the famous church Sagrada Familia. "It is said that the Sagrada Familia was built as an atonement for the city's sins.

When it is finished, it will be the world's most beautiful apology."

Mia is believed to be attempting suicide but Ely carries her off from the train station.

She is later on reprimanded by Ely: "Kaunting hirap, susuko agad? Masabihan lang ng kaunti, aalis. Kapag pumalpak, tatakas! Alam mo, Mia, hindi ka talaga puwede sa ibang bansa, e! Ang hina-hina mo!"

However, sparks eventually fly between the two as they explore the beauty of Spain together.

At one point, Mia is seen positioned over a sleeping Ely as if she were about to kiss him.

"Alam mo, ikaw gusto mo lang talaga halikan kita, e," she tells him.

"Baka ikaw ang gustong magpa-kiss sa akin, Mia," he responds.

As they become closer to each other, Mia finds out that Ely can't get over Celine, his past love.

Towards the end, Ely holds her hand and assures her, "Mia, mahal kita."

She responds by saying, "You don't have to. Huwag mo akong mahalin dahil mahal kita. Mahalin mo ako dahil mahal mo ako because that is what I deserve."
