This is an autonomous section of the 73rd Venice Film Festival which is currently ongoing until September 10 in Venice, Italy.

According to the film festival's website, Pamilya Ordinaryo received 70.3% of audience votes. The drama film first premiered in Cinemalaya 2016.

Anna Boccaccio, BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas' Director of Institutional Relations, handed the award on Friday, September 9, at the Filmamakers' Villa.
