Sarah Geronimo would pick the role of Mikee Cojuangco if she were to do the remake of DoReMi.
The Popstar Princess says it was actually her who suggested about doing a remake of DoReMi with her good friends in showbiz, Rachelle Ann Go and Yeng Constantino.
“Ako ang nagsabi n'on sa kanya,” said Sarah about the photo of Rachelle Ann with her and Yeng, which became a trending photo on Instagram last weekend.
The singer-actress continued, “Kasi, pinakita niya sa akin 'yong photo.
“Sabi ko, 'Wow, puwede ng DoReMi. Ikaw Ate Shin si Regine, Ako si Mikee, and si Yeng si Donna Cruz.'
“Para talagang in character si Yeng, imagine mo?”
Sarah says she's very willing to do the project if it pushes through.
“Kung tototohanin, why not? It would be an honor to do a remake ng DoReMi.”
DoReMi is a musical comedy movie that featured Regine Velasquez, Donna Cruz, and Mikee Conjuangco. It was produced by Viva Entertainment in 1996.
FOCUSED ON PROMOTING ALBUM. Meanwhile, Sarah is now prioritizing the promotion of her latest album, The Great Unknown, as she returns from her showbiz break.
“I'd like to focus more sa music ko and promote it.
“Kasi, 'yong mga nakaraang album ko hindi ko po talaga na-promote nang maayos.
“Gusto ko talagang mailabas ang magagandang tracks dito sa latest album ko,” Sarah said.
She recently released a music video of “The Great Unknown” from her latest 10-track album. The song is a collaboration with the Hale band, whose members were also featured in the said music video.
