Jodi Sta. Maria gets bruises while shooting new movie; Iwa Moto gives her comment

Jodi Sta. Maria gets bruises while shooting her new movie Dear Other Self. On her Instagram post, fans, friends, and colleagues including Iwa Moto told Jodi to take care of herself.

Jodi Sta. Maria got her legs bruised while shooting her upcoming movie Dear Other Self.

She revealed this through her Instagram account @jodistamaria last October 17 during her first shooting day for the movie.

In her caption, she wrote, "When you try to go ober da bakod. Happy 1st shooting day! *wink* #dearotherself."

Meanwhile, some fans, friends and colleagues became worried for the 34-year-old actress because of her injury.

Even her director Veronica Velasco, or Direk Roni in showbiz circles, reacted with an emoji on her post.

Former actress Iwa Moto, who uses the handle name @iam_iwa, also left a comment on Jodi's post, telling her to take care while at work.

She wrote, "Ay hala ka! Mag-ingat ka."


It can be recalled that Jodi and Iwa used to have a misunderstanding when Iwa became the girlfriend of Jodi's ex-husband Pampi Lacson.

But then, the two were able to make amends and are now good friends.

Jodi has two leading men for Dear Other Self: Joseph Marco and JC De Vera.

No playdate has been announced yet for this Star Cinema movie.

Just recently, Jodi received a nomination as Best Actress at the prestigious 44th International Emmy Awards for the teleserye Pangako Sa 'Yo.

Currently, her popular daytime series Be Careful With My Heart just started its re-run on the Kapamilya network's throwback channel Jeepney TV. The show ran for two years (2012-2014) on ABS-CBN.
