Direk Diane won the Best Director award for Global Feature while Jake Cuenca took home the trophy for Best Actor at the 2015 International Film Festival Manhattan for Mulat.
The Filipino film also won Best Narrative Feature at the World Cinema Festival in Brazil where Jake Cuenca once again took home the Best Actor award.

GMA-7 host Arianne Bautista, who is being linked to Rocco Nacino, was asked about the real score between her and the Kapuso actor.
