This is actually the third time that Angelica will be playing Dingdong's wife on the big screen. They previously worked with each other in Segunda Mano (2011) and One More Try (2012).

As seen in the trailer, Angelica's character Anne engages in physical fights with her husband. She slaps Dingdong's Geoff after catching him having an affair.

In an interview with PEP.ph and TV Patrol during the October 27 photo shoot of The Unmarried Wife, Angelica said that moviegoers can expect intense confrontation scenes, especially between her and Dingdong.

When asked how intense their confrontation scenes were, Angelica answered, "Hindi ko masabi, e.

"Ang makakapag-react siguro si Dingdong talaga dahil siya ang tumanggap ng lahat."

She even revealed that she apologized to Dingdong and his wife Marian Rivera after the scenes! "Nagsorry naman ako sa kanilang mag-asawa dahil kumota din naman ako ng pananakit," Angelica said with a laugh.

In a separate interview with ABS-CBN's website Push, Dingdong said that about this, "Ay nag-sorry din ba sa kanya?

However, he added that physical fights in scenes aren't a big deal anymore for the actor. "Pero ako sanay na tayo diyan [sa sampalan].

"She's [Angelica] very professional when it comes to that. Yun yung mga bagay na talagang kahanga-hanga sa kanya.

"Parang automatic when she's on-cam, she gives her 100 percent of her craft sa character and siyempre, pagkatapos, yung reality, kung nasaktan man kita, sorry.

"Sila talaga yung masarap katrabaho, yung mga ganitong klase ng artista."

Since this movie directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes will be the third film of Dingdong and Angelica together, the actress witnessed how he has changed as an actor.

She observed, "Ang laki ng difference ngayon ni Dingdong. Simula nung una ko siyang nakatrabaho from Segunda Mano to One More Try and then dito, talagang napapanganga ako sa kanya ngayon kapag umaarte siya.

"Parang hindi ko ine-expect yung sobrang flawless noong performance na pinapakita niya, lalo na pag nag-e-eksena kami, lagi akong nagugulat, 'Wow, san galing yun, bakit bigla kang ganyan?'"

If in the trailer, Dingdong's character Geoff is involved in a problematic marriage, Angelica thinks that Dingdong's life now is completely the opposite of his character that it resonated in his performance.

"Ang galing galing niya. Siguro nga sabi ko, ang laking naitulong dahil ngayon sobrang tahimik yung buhay niya, ang saya-saya niya, siguro wala na siyang insecurities sa katawan niya and basta, ang galing-galing niya talaga!"

It was also seen in the trailer that Angelica had a bed scene with Dingdong in the film.

The ABS-CBN actress said about their sensitive scenes: "Masaya naman ako sa mga nakunan namin."
