Alden Richards happily revealed that they are already done shooting scenes for their upcoming movie Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers.
In this film, he has a cameo role with love team partner Maine Mendoza.
The movie was submitted for consideration as one of the official entries of the 43rd Metro Manila Film Festival.
In a short interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other reporters yesterday, November 8, Alden said with delight, "Yes, tapos na po!
"It's for MMFF. Maine and I are part of the film so sana abangan po nila."
In a previous interview with 24 Oras last October, the Pambansang Bae revealed that he and Maine have a short role in the resort location of the movie topbilled by Vic Sotto.
Photos during their shooting in Bohol were uploaded by fans on Instagram.
The original deadline for submission of entries to MMFF 2016 was scheduled for October 31 but it was moved to November 2 because the former was declared as a holiday.
However, days before the final deadline, the MMFF Executive Committee announced that producers were allowed to submit films that are still in the "Picture Lock" stage.
This means that the scenes ine the movie are already in the final sequence.
Furthermore, the chosen entries will still be allowed to enhance other technical aspects such as musical scoring, color grading, and VFX.
In an interview with 24 Oras, Senator Tito Sotto said that he was bothered by this controversial rule.
"It's a complete violation of the original rules.
"It's like changing horses midstream because may mga gustong sumali na hindi tapos," he said.
