Angelica Panganiban on playing Anne from The Unmarried Wife: "Idol ko siya." This Star Cinema film The Unmarried Wife will open in Philippine cinemas on November 16, 2016.

Angelica Panganiban returns to the big screen with her latest dramatic role as Anne in the family drama The Unmarried Wife.

Her character's seemingly perfect marriage has been tainted by her husband Geoff's (played by Dingdong Dantes) infidelities and finds herself at a crossroad when she meets Bryan (played by Paulo Avelino).

After working with GMA-7 actor Dingdong for the third time, Angelica noticed that he has already loosened up around her.

They were previously part of the 2011 movie Segunda Mano and the 2012 drama One More Try.

Bakit ganun? Tapos ex-explain ko yung joke sa kanya."

She recalled the time when Dingdong worked with Star Cinema for the first time.

"Dati, medyo nararamdaman mo yung parang naiilang siya.

"Siguro naiilang siya kasi tumatawid siya from another network.

Angelica made it a point to make Dingdong feel more comfortable working with the staff and crew of ABS-CBN's film production arm.

Angelica also shared her observation about Dingdong's acting style.

Just like Dingdong, Angelica hopes that there will come a time when artists will be able to work with different production companies, regardless of their network affiliation.

ON PLAYING HEARTBROKEN WIFE. Angelica learned a lot from Anne's story in the film that she declared the character to be one of her idols, "Love na love ko siya talaga. Gusto ko siyang yakapin. Ang busilak niya."

The ABS-CBN actress talked about dealing with heartbreak during the blogger's conference for the film on November 11 held in the ELJ Building in Quezon City.

Through her portrayal, the former child actress realized that she could be just as resilient as her film character when trials happen in her life.

Angelica completely dwelled in her character's struggle and threw her own personal pains into the fray. That was why the versatile actress admitted that she often couldn't hold in her emotions for certain scenes.

MOVING ON. When PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked how does Angelica herself move on from a similar pain that her character had faced, the Kapamilya star revealed that she goes through the struggle alone.

"Iba-iba kasi tayo mag cope, e.

Only when she had fully understood her situation would she share to other people the pain that she had gone through.

If she would to give her character Anne a piece of advice about her relationship problem, what would Angelica give?

" I don't think kailangan niya ng advice. Sobrang strong niyang babae.
