Lahad niya, “People think this guy is goody-goody angel, parang gano’n.
“Six months before the film, I trained in martial art called kali. And it was timing because I didn’t know about the film yet, and then the film came in and sobrang timing, I was very motivated, very inspired to pursue the film so I said yes right away.”
“Yung fight scenes namin if you watch the fight scenes sa huli, it was easier in a sense na totoo yung bugbugan namin.
“After the eksena yung mga pasa, sabi nga ni Tita Baby [Nebrida, director] dahan-dahan.
“If it was a different actor baka mapagalitan kami, but we [other cast members] talked.
“The hits we we’re giving each other were real and it was fun we were all professional.”
“We all cried, we all sweat, we all had sleepless nights, but at the end of the day, it was fulfilling. I was thankful I was able to do this project.”
"Every day kasi sa shooting, may pasabog. The last fight scene we had, me and Ivan, we're so close. After the fight scene, there's this big bukol, kasinglaki ng tennis ball.
"We understand each other kaya talagang we were giving it to each other.
"Yung lahat ng fight scene namin, talagang tinatamaan namin."
PRAISES FOR MATTEO.
Sabi ni Direk Baby, “It took us three months before we finally got Matteo because I didn’t know… I have to be honest that he was a great action star.
“I thought he was just a romantic man in Dolce Amore and the boyfriend of Sarah [Geronimo].
“But after this movie, I think he will be a big action hero, action star he’s terrific. It was really meant for Matteo.”
“He is very dedicated. There was a time in this while we were shooting. He was sick. Really sick. Nanginginig na nga sa set.
“I would see his dedication his passion in his work.
“Matteo was willing to do anything the director would tell him to do.
“Siya [Matteo], sobrang humble and his emotional quotient is so high na talagang he feels his role. Very observant siya, he’s willing to learn and that’s what I like about him. He’s such a gentleman, he’s so sweet and no ere.”
