The Liza Soberano-Enrique Gil film My Ex and Whys is proving to be the highest-grossing movie of the LizQuen love team so far.
This movie has already earned P341 million worldwide, according to Star Cinema.
This was revealed during the victory party of My Ex and Whys held last March 3.
During this event, Liza cried as she thanked Direk Cathy who helped her while they were working on Got To Believe and Forevermore.
"She never gave up on me even during the times I felt like I couldn't give my best. When I felt like I wasn't delivering what she wanted me to deliver, she was there. Thank you, direk."
"I didn't expect the movie to do this well because I really thought I did a bad job. Hearing you all say that you really enjoyed the movie and there was just so much good feedback, I'm so grateful and thankful. Thank you God, of course, for the blessings," said an emotional Liza.
My Ex and Whys, which was partly shot in South Korea, was able to reach the P200 million mark in the Philippine box-office last February 23.
According to a release sent by ABS-CBN International last February 25, the LizQuen movie earned USD $1 million from screenings in the Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, U.S. and Canada.
Previous movies of Liza and Enrique were able to reach the P100 million mark: Just the Way You Are (2015) and Everyday I Love You (2015).

My Ex and Whys revolves around Cali (Liza Soberano), a blogger who owns the up and coming blog, The Bakit List. She dreams of becoming a social media influencer. This is why when an exchange with a user, @DahilListBoy goes viral and she gets the opportunity of a lifetime, she decides to meet him.
It turns out this boy is her ex-boyfriend, Gio (Enrique Gil) who wants to get her back. Cali is determined not to fall for him again, so although a career deal forces them to work together, she convinces herself not to trust Gio again. However, when Gio starts answering all her whys, Cali’s walls break and she starts asking her most important why: Why can you still love someone who hurt you?
