Sharon Cuneta is back in the Philippines after her two-week vacation in the United States.
Upon her return, The Voice Teens coach happily announces that she will start filming her first Cinemalaya film titled Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha this Saturday, May 20.
“Praying my body clock adjusts back to normal ASAP because my Cinemalaya movie 'Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha' starts filming on...Saturday,” she disclosed via Facebook yesterday, May 17.
The Megastar asked for support as she returns to acting, which she has not done for a few years already.
“Please pray for me. Mahirap po umakting lalo na for the first time in so many years,” she pleaded.
Sharon was last seen as an actress in TV5's defunct TV series Madam Chairman (2013). The last movie she did was Mano Po 6: A Mother's Love (2009) under Regal Films.
Since she returned to ABS-CBN, Megastar Sharon has served as a coach in The Voice and as a judge in two installments of Your Face Sounds Familiar.
Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha by Mes de Guzman is among the 10 independent films selected as finalists to the full-length feature category of the annual independent film festival.
It is about a desperate woman who wants to be reunited with her husband and her two children.
The 13th edition of the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival and Competition will be held from August 3-14, 2017.
