Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes will be paired for the first time in a movie.
The two bankable stars from different networks had their look test last Monday, June 26, for a film with the working title Sid and Aya (Not A Love Story).
Anne is a contract star of ABS-CBN while Dingdong is one of GMA-7's prime leading men.
The movie is produced by VIVA Films and N2 Productions.
Movie producer Neil Arce shared a photo on his Instagram account during the look test.
Anne's fans club called Annefinity Club shared more photos of Anne and Dingdong.
This marks Anne and Dingdong's first project after 15 years.
The two used to be co-stars in VIVA-produced TV shows such as the second batch of TGIS (1997-1999) and the weekly drama series Anna Karenina (1996-2002), which both aired on GMA.
They also had a few scenes in VIVA's short-lived youth drama H2K: Hati-Hating Kapatid (2000), which aired on IBC-13.
Anne and Dingdong also worked in movies such as Honey My Love So Sweet (1999) and Akala Mo (2002).
However, Anne and Dingdong were never paired for a project since Anne and her batchmates are the juniors of Dingdong's batch.
Eventually, Anne transferred to ABS-CBN but remained a VIVA talent.
Dingdong remained a Kapuso artist but he is now being managed by Perry Lansigan.
Currently, Anne is doing another VIVA movie titled Buy Bust, while Dingdong recently attended the story conference for his upcoming Star Cinema movie titled Seven Sundays.
Anne is also set to topbill a movie with a Korean actor, and at one point was even rumored to portray Valentina in Star Cinema's Darna starring Liza Soberano.
No other details have been revealed about Sid and Aya (Not A Love Story).
