Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez's movie Kita Kita has already earned P90 million on its first week in cinemas.
This was announced by Cornerstone Entertainment's official Instagram account earlier today, July 26.
Cornerstone Entertainment is the sister company of Spring Films, one of the producers of Kita Kita.

The story of Kita Kita revolves around Lea (Alessandra), a Filipina working as a tourist guide in Japan who suddenly gets temporary blindness.
Before she became blind, she caught her Japanese fiance and Filipina friend cheating on her.
She later on meets Tonyo (Empoy), a Filipino man who lives across the street who constantly woos his "kabayan" with Filipino home-cooked meals.
Seeing his efforts, Lea starts to invest emotions for Tonyo and fall for him even though she does not see him.
The movie showcases the first team-up of Alessandra and Empoy, whose tandem now goes by the collective name "AlEmpoy."
Aside from Spring Films, this movie directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo is also co-produced by VIVA Films.
Cornerstone Entertainment also announced yesterday, July 25, that Kita Kita will have international screenings.
The list of countries will be announced this weekend.
