ABS-CBN actor JC Santos is no longer part of Kim Chiu's upcoming horror movie Ghost Bride.
He confirmed this to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other reporters at the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino grand press conference last August 3, at Seda Hotel, Vertis North, Quezon City.
He said, "Hindi na ako. Di ko alam, di ko alam kung anong nangyari.
"Hindi ko rin alam ano nangyari dun, e. Hindi rin naman nasabi sa 'kin na hindi na ako kasali."
However, the 28-year-old actor said, "Hindi naman masama yung loob ko kasi yun nga, sanay na ako sa kung hindi ka talaga pwede sa role, hindi ka talaga."
It was during the July 17 press conference of his indie film Sakaling Hindi Makarating when JC divulged to PEP.ph that he will figure in a love triangle with Kim and Enzo Pineda for the upcoming Star Cinema film.
He even attended the story conference of the movie last February 2.
Cameras have already started rolling for the Chito Rono film Ghost Bride. Kim shot scenes with Christian Bables in Nepal.
MMFF MOVIE. Even if JC is not included in Ghost Bride anymore, he is still busy shooting films.
JC is currently busy promoting the movie 100 Tula Para Kay Stella, which is included in the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino and will be screened from August 16 to 22, 2017 in all cinemas nationwide.
Aside from that, the former Till I Met You actor also revealed that he will be part of an official entry to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.
He said, "Kasama ko si Vic Sotto at saka si Dawn [Zulueta]."
When it was announced as an official entry to the 2017 MMFF, the Vic-Dawn movie is titled as Love Traps #FamilyGoals.
According to JC, announcement of the other cast members will happen next week.
JC is also part of the Cinemalaya 2017 entry Nabubulok and will soon start shooting his movie with Ryza Cenon titled Mr. and Mrs. Cruz.
