After their successful teamup in the 2014 movie English Only Please, Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay reunite via the 2017 Metro Manila Film Fest entry, All of You.

The Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) entry All of You starring Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay was rated R-13 by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

According to Quantum Films’ producer Atty. Josabeth “Joji” Alonso, her team already expected All of You to receive a R-13 rating even while still shooting the movie.

“We were not surprised kasi thematic yung material, e.

“It talks about a couple that decides to live together. From that pa lang, medyo thematic na yung concerns.

“Hindi siya pambata talaga.”

All of You (formerly titled Almost is Not Enough) was submitted as a script and became an official entry to the annual Pinoy-films festival during MMFF’s media announcement of the first four entries as early as June 30.'s exclusive interview with All of You's producer Atty. Joji was held after MMFF 2017's media announcement of the eight official entries held at Club Filipino in San Juan City last November 19.

An R-13 rating from MTRCB means children below 13 years old cannot watch the film.

“With that alone, yung audience namin affected na kasi children below cannot watch the film.

“But we have very high hopes because it’s a well-crafted movie by director Dan Villegas.”

Atty. Joji continued, “I don’t wanna sacrifice my material. Kung ano yung dapat, I want to go through it.

“Kasi how can you show the story behind a couple who’s living together kung wala yung certain scenes? Hindi siya magwo-work. So, okay na ako dun.”

Quantum Films’ previous MMFF entries like English Only Please—starring Jennylyn and Derekand Walang Forever—starring Jennylyn and Jericho—were box-office hits.

Is she also expecting All of You to perform well in the box office this year?

Atty. Joji answered, “In terms of box office, siyempre nangangarap na sana kumita yung pelikula, na sana tangkilikin ng maraming manonood during the Christmas season.

“But at the end of the day, I don’t mind if I’m number eight for as long as makaka-break even kami para may panggawa ulit ng pelikula.”

At any rate, Atty. Joji said she’s happy with the teamup of Jennylyn and Derek in All of You.

“If I compare this film with Walang Forever and English Only Please, this is my favorite.”

The lawyer-producer then cited Maryo delos Reyes who praised Direk Dan for coming up with a very good film.

Direk Maryo—who was among MMFF 2017's selection committee members for the short-film entries—said that he was also present during the screening of the full-length film entries.

Atty. Joji continued, “You heard Direk Maryo.

“I’m very proud of Derek. Being his lawyer at the same time, I look at him like my own son na rin.

“Sobrang natutuwa ako sa pag-evolve niya as an actor because I’ve seen his past works…
