Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador are both excited and nervous for the showing of their movie musical My Fairy Tail Love Story.

Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona are both elated over the good feedback they received for the trailer of their upcoming movie, My Fairy Tail Love Story (MFTLS).

In fact, they both described the feeling as "NerVited."

Laughing, Elmo explained, "NerVited. She [Janella] always says that. Nervous and excited!"

Janella added, "We're super... actually, I don't know what to feel talaga kasi we're getting so many good feedback from the trailer and we're glad people liked the trailer and we really hope the whole movie, magustuhan ng mga tao once they watch it."

Janella is aware that My Fairy Tail Love Story is being compared to Disney movies.

Of this, she said, "Actually, wala namang problem doon kasi we really tried to get that feel, e. The magical feel of Disney.

"Kaya siya tinawag na fairy tale kasi, who else really makes fairy tales, Disney, di ba?

"We're not copying Disney, it's just we want people to feel the same way they felt when they watched Disney movies growing up. The magical feel.

"But it's not your usual fairy tail din, marami kaming binali dito."

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other bloggers spoke to Elmo and Janella during their Tunog Star Magic blogcon last Tuesday, February 6, at ELJ Building, Quezon City.

The love team were the featured artists of Tunog Star Magic last Saturday, February 10.

MMFF. However, before getting a Valentine's Day playdate, Janella admitted that she felt bad when MFTLS did not make it in the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.

She said, "Honestly speaking, we kind of felt a bit bad noong hindi siya nakapasok sa MMFF, kasi that's how it started, e.

"We actually submitted it talaga, we finished the movie in time for the submission but it didn't get in.

"But honestly, this is the time when I realized na sobrang galing din ng pagka-orchestrate ni God na nilagay niya sa Valentine's Day yung showing kasi it's perfect for Valentines' Day, e.

"And we didn't even realize that. We only realized it when it happened. And it's a blessing in disguise talaga na hindi siya nakapasok sa MMFF."

Elmo added, "Unexpected, siyempre, na that happened. But I'm really happy that we earned it, like, we got the Valentine date mismo so that's another blessing also."

As for the most unforgettable scene they did for the film, the ElNella love team both agreed to their favorite.

Elmo blurted out, "I think it's really the underwater scenes!"

Janella then continued, "Yes, even if we got sunog! It was so fun.

"It was hard, it was challenging kasi we were under the sun for the whole day, morning to medyo evening. But it was worth it kasi napakaganda talaga undwerwater."

According to Elmo, it was also his first time to do such scenes.

"Ako, that was my first time to shoot something underwater and akala ko noong una, okay this is how it goes.

"Pero noong underwater na talaga, parang, Direk, isa pa please isa pa! It was an experience."

My Fairy Tail Love Story is directed by Perci Intalan, and produced by Idea First Company for Regal Films.
