Kris Aquino explains why I Love You, Hater's showing date was moved. "I'll be honest, we're averaging two sequences a day, very meticulous talaga. But at least, mapa-proud ako, alam niyo na hindi ito yung ni-rush and then maganda siya talaga."

Kris Aquino's movie comeback with Star Cinema will have a new playdate.

The actress-TV host confirmed this to (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other reporters earlier today, May 31.

She said, "Yes, July 11, definitely that's sure already because on our way here, Nikko [Kris's business manager] is giving me my schedule because marami pa kaming kailangang gawin.

"I'll be honest, we're averaging two sequences a day, very meticulous talaga.

"But at least, mapa-proud ako, alam niyo na hindi ito yung ni-rush and then maganda siya talaga and from the teaser akala niyo it's a typical rom-com, pero it really has genuine family values and that is very important to me."

Kris previously announced during the story conference that their movie was supposed to be shown on June 13.

Titled I Love You, Hater, Kris co-headlines the film with Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia.

This serves as her comeback movie after three years, and the first time that she will be working with new director Giselle Andres.

According to Kris, there was one particular scene where she became so proud of her acting.

With a smile, she narrated, "There are so many shots because Direk Giselle was mentored by Inang Olive Lamasan so super ano talaga, as a producer also, I realized the wisdom because pag mag-edit ka, wala kang hahanapin, kumpleto.

"And then kasi, may creative manager there, may writers there, may isang scene na lahat sila pumalakpak.

"So na-proud ako, sabi ko, I'm magaling." and other reporters spoke to Kris during the launch of her own make-up line with Ever Bilena called Kris Life kits today, May 31, at La Vita Restaurant, Marina Bay, Seaside Boulevard, Pasay City.

JOSHLIA. While Kris is proud of her acting in the scenes that they are done shooting, she also has good words for the love team of Joshua and Julia.

Especially for Joshua, who helped Kris a lot in one scene she found difficult to do.

"It's Julia who will be the revelation, we do not expect her to be witty and funny, but she really is.

"But Joshua is the real deal. I've said this, we had a moment that was very complicated to shoot, a big scene and it involved a lot of walking.

"You know naman, make me memorize 10 pages of the script, I'll be perfect, make me walk, [no].

"So mabait siya kasi maalalay siya talaga and tinutulungan niya talaga ako dahil alam niyang gumegewang-gewang ako.

"I feel that yung as a girl boss in this, the three of us have chemistry."

The 47-year-old actress also dropped hints about the story of I Love You, Hater, which is somewhat similar to what she does today.

She elaborated, "Kasi ano ako, I'm Kris as Kris, Kris with the webisodes and Kris is the number one online influencer and Kris as KCAP.

"So may webisodes and then they [Julia and Joshua] are vying to be the new assistant because the 'Alvin' died [in the story]."

Alvin, in real life, is Alvin Gagui, Kris's righthand man and confidante.

She continued, "Nagko-compete silang dalawa to get that position so madaming mga ano, yung they watch all the webisodes all I've done so merong mga nirecreate for the movie."

Kris also mentioned in an interview that she will treat the JoshLia love team to a trip to New York if their movie becomes a box office hit.

Sharing the story behind this promise, she explained, "Kasi it was so cute kasi they were talking about... while break, we were talking about mga bucket list, ano yung natitira.

"Kasi the two were asking me na, 'Tita, ano pang di niyo napupuntahan?

"Sabi ko, 'I just want to see the Lavender Fields in Hokkaido, I'll be happy na. Kayo?'

"Ang deal nila is that they have two endorsements right now as a tandem. If they close the third, they'll really go daw to New York kasi dream nila to travel around New York together.

"So I said, 'O, ano, basta maging box-office hit ito, business class tickets ang sagot ko. Pero yung hotel, kayo na yun ha, pagsikapan niyo na yun!' And I really do keep my promises."

HORROR MOVIE. Tomorrow, June 1, Kris is set to travel to Tokyo, Japan to celebrate her son Josh's birthday.

According to her, this will be the only time she can travel because she is scheduled to finish I Love You, Hater in succeeding days.

After the movie with ABS-CBN's film arm, cameras will start rolling for Kris's movie with an online streaming service.

"Tomorrow we leave, napaalam ko dahil nga nag-adjust ng playdate and it's not fair that Bimb got to spend it in Tokyo, so Kuya will spend it in Tokyo also.

"We leave tomorrow, we'll be back on the 5th. Shooting on the 6th, straight yun kasi, e, yung schedule, kasi the movie shows on July 11th.

"But I believe on the 18th [of July], I start the iFlix movie which is out of town, which is 24 straight days out of town so ito lang yung window.

"So pinagbigyan ako because sabi ko, that's for my son."

A previous report from PEP Troika said that GMA-7 actress Barbie Forteza will be joining Kris in this horror movie to be directed by Adolf Alix, Jr.

Barbie is known for doing impersonations of Kris in the Kapuso Sunday noontime show Sunday Pinasaya.

However, at that time, Kris said that the streaming service has yet to confirm if Barbie will indeed join her in the movie.

The latter part of the report also stated that ABS-CBN actress Miles Ocampo, who played Kris's daughter in the 2013 series Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw, is also being considered for the part. then asked if Kris her co-star for the horror movie has been finalized already.

Kris only answered, "I'm not allowed to say. They have chosen but I was told to... because iFlix is a co-presenter of I Love You, Hater so dapat daw focus muna ako sa I Love You, Hater."
