Jao Mapa and Sylvia Sanchez topbill Lihim Ng Dapithapon


Ms. Sylvia Sanchez and Jao Mapa portray two people who share a forbidden romance in the short film Lihim Ng Dapithapon. This entry to the PelikuLetranFestival will be screened tomorrow, February 20, 2009.



The short film Lihim Ng Dapithapon is a story about two people who love each other more than they should. This tale of forbidden love revolves around a young man who will return to his hometown to make the woman admit that she is also feeling the same emotions that the young man has for her.

The film, which is an official entry to the 2009 PelikuLetran Festival, is produced by Strong Eyes Production which is composed of eight Communication Arts students from Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Intramuros. They are Mark Joseph Buenafe (director), Auralene Dipasupil (assistant director); John Christian Ruby (director of photography); Alyana Pearl Navarro (sound/music); Ermil Sanchez (production manager); Apple Jane Bernardino (production designer); Jazmine Lea Espinili (costume & make-up) and executive producer Michael Sabhnani.

Starring Ms. Sylvia Sanchez and Jao Mapa, Lihim Ng Dapithapon will be shown on February 20 (5 pm) at the Student Center Auditorium of Letran in Intramuros.
