Sharon Cuneta will start shooting for upcoming movie this October


This photo of Sharon Cuneta was given to members of the media in September 2010. This August 2011, the Megastar says that she lost 20 pounds by cutting out carbs from her diet.


Last Tuesday, August 23, Ms. Sharon Cuneta attended the story conference of her upcoming movie for Star Cinema.



In her interview with ABS-CBN News, the Megastar was quoted as saying about her movie: "Shooting na sa October. Basta ang role ko ay nagta-trabaho sa call center, the story is about family."

"Ibang klaseng nanay ako dito. Madrasta was a different kind, ito din."



Lauren Dyogi will direct this film, which will mark Sharon’s return to the big screen after appearing in 2009’s Mano Po 6: A Mother’s Love.

Gabby Concepcion recently told the press that he hopes his reunion movie with Sharon will happen soon.

When asked to give an update about her reunion movie with her ex-husband, Sharon said:


"We are still hoping for that. I’m pretty sure it will push through but as not as soon as everybody hopes. Ayaw ko naman mag-comeback ng love story na immediately Sharon-Gabby agad. Let’s do our own muna, pero papasaan ba, darating din ’yon, e, Sharon-Gabby ’yon. Pati ako fan ako ng love team na ’yon."

The Megastar revealed that she is thinking about producing films in the future.

"I’m gonna go into co-production with certain projects lang, at saka I’m hoping kahit hindi ako ang artista sa iba makiki-co-prod, co-prod lang with Star and Viva, dadahan-dahanin."


HOW SHE LOST 20 POUNDS. Sharon, who is currently hosting The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition, narrates how she lost 20 pounds recently.



"I cut out as much as carbo as I could. Wala akong set na diet, it’s really a mixture. I have a cousin who’s kind of a health buff so she tells me na ganito, ganyan, tapos hinahalo ko sa ibang diet na na-try ko na, aba, nag-work naman.

Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, who lost weight after giving birth to a baby boy, has also been giving weight-loss tips to Sharon.

"Yes, my sister also helps me sometimes, kapag naglalambing ako gagawan niya ako ng meal na masarap, pero usually just three meals a day, no rice, no bread, no nothing, no happiness. Pero sandali lang naman after that puwede ka na ulit," says the Megastar.

Sharon’s goal is to shed 20 more pounds from her weight.
