Controversial Pinoy Big Brother ex-housemate Wendy Valdez was pulled out from the cast of the 2007 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Banal. Her manager says ABS-CBN wants Wendy to do her first film under Star Cinema.

Kung natanggal ang dalawang Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemates na sina Bruce Quebral at Zanjoe Marudo sa 2007 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry na Desperadas, out na rin ang co-housemate at girlfriend ni Bruce na si Wendy Valdez sa isa pang MMFF entry, ang Banal ng ComGuild Production to be directed by Cesar Apolinario.

Maganda sana ang papel ni Wendy sa Banal, na dapat sana ay kay Iza Calzado who had to let go of the project dahil kasama siya sa Desperadas.

"Kinausap ako ng ABS-CBN," kuwento sa amin ni Ambet Nabus, PEP contributor and also manager of Wendy.

Sa submitted cast list ng ComGuild noon sa MMFF screening committee, it listed Marvin Agustin, Dingdong Dantes, and Iza as the main lead.
