Hollywood stars are expected to arrive in the Philippines this January to shoot the action flick, The Bourne Legacy.
Bourne Legacy and Jeremy Renner became trending topics on the micro-blogging site Twitter as Filipinos talked about the much-anticipated movie project.
Jeremy and Rachel Weisz are expected to arrive in the Philippines for the fourth installment of the Bourne franchise. This is based on Ruben Nepales’s article in a national broadsheet published last December.
The said article also revealed that Jeremy is cast as Aaron who is described as "a new CIA operative in the story based on Robert Ludlum’s novels."
Meanwhile, GMANetwork.com quoted a Balitanghali report that listed the areas in Metro Manila that will serve as locations of the action thriller movie.
Chairman Francis Tolentino of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority revealed that the locations include Intramuros, Navotas Fishport, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Jones Bridge, Marikina City Market and San Andres Market.
The said report mentioned that the finale of the said movie will be shot in El Nido, Palawan.
In a separate interview with ANC, Chairman Tolentino also disclosed that the movie’s car chase sequences will be shot in Pasay Taft Rotonda.
"I think they selected Pasay Taft Rotonda. Magulo talaga ang area. So it’s about time that we redo the area because it will be shown worldwide. So it’s an eye-opener for us na ayusin namin ang Pasay-Taft Rotonda," he was quoted as saying in the ANC report.
According to the MMDA head, the shooting of The Bourne Legacy will last for a month here in the Philippines.
