David Cook will return to the Philippines for two-night concert in July

American Idol Season 7 winner David Cook will perform on July 14, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and on July 15 at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel.


It’s been 4 years since David Cook made that unforgettable rendition of Mariah Carey’s hit “Always Be My Baby” during American Idol Season 7. His impressive arrangement of that song showcased his talents as an artist and propelled him to international recognition.

After winning the coveted title of American Idol, David Cook went on to launched his first album, David Cook, with the carrier single “Light On.” The single was certified platinum. He further made record with 11 songs debuting in Billboard Hot 100 beating out Miley Cyrus.

David Cook’s ability to write straight from the heart endeared him to millions of fans worldwide. His emotionally charged performance of the song “Permanent” on the finale of American Idol Season 8, dedicated to his brother who passed away, displayed his grace as a performer and courage to the rest of the world.


Being ardent music lovers, it’s hard for Filipinos not to admire the rock singer, who is known for crooning power ballads in his unique raspy voice. In fact, his last concert in Manila was well received by his Filipino fans.

Dayly Entertainment, in cooperation with LAMC Productions and Rockstar Touring, will bring the enigmatic rock singer back to Manila and allow him to perform for the first time in Cebu.


David Cook Live in Manila will take place on July 14, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and Live in Cebu on July 15, 2012 at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel.
