All Time Low set to invade Manila once again at Bazooka Rocks II

Bazooka Rocks II, an indoor and air-conditioned rock festival, will be held on August 25, 2013 at the SMX Convention Center.

American pop-punk band All Time Low is the headliner for Bazooka Rocks II, the Philippines’ first indoor and air-conditioned rock festival. It will be held on August 25, 2013 (Sunday) at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

All Time Low will be sharing the stage with 7 other international acts namely Anberlin, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, We Came as Romans, A Rocket to the Moon, Tonight Alive, Radiodriveby, and Uchusentai: Noiz plus 4 fresh and talented local acts Save Me Hollywood, Mad Hatter Day, Faintlight, and Penguin.

All Time Low has emerged as a headliner in many of the world’s biggest and most high-profile music festivals worldwide such as Warped Tour and Soundwave. The four-piece band visited the country last September 22, 2011 and delivered a hugely successful and mind-blowing concert.

Hailing from Baltimore, they started out as a high school band in 2003 and eventually released their debut EP, The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End in 2004 through a local record label. They released their first studio album The Party Scene the year after. Through the course of their career, All Time Low released four full-length studio albums, two extended plays and a live album and is continuously making waves. Their song “Dear Maria, Count Me In” from their second album is the band’s first single to reach the Pop 100 charts. In 2011, the single was certified Gold for reaching 500,000 in shipments despite never receiving radio plays. In 2008, All Time Low was named “Band of the Year” by Alternative Press magazine and featured on the cover of their January 2009 issue. The band’s third studio album, Nothing Personal, is their highest-charting album to date, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard charts.

In an exclusive interview with PULP, frontman Alex Gaskarth shared their excitement about coming back to Manila, “Our fans asked us to come back, so we’re coming back! It’s that simple! We had such an amazing time last time we were over that we couldn’t just leave it at that.”

All Time Low must have set some kind of world record with the number of bras that were thrown at them onstage when they first came to Manila. Diehards of All Time Low in the Philippines are now calling for their fellow fans to donate more bras at PULP Live World’s HQ as part of an even more historical bra drop, an experience that would definitely be remembered!

Catch their set at 9PM and sing along to songs from their latest album Don’t Panic and other All Time Low classics.

Bazooka Rocks is presented by Lee Jeans and San Miguel Flavored Beer and sponsored by Hyundai and the Department of Tourism. Media sponsors are The Philippine Star, Monster Radio RX 93.1, and PULP Magazine.
