After the success of the ASAP Ultimate Dance 4 Album launched last February, ASAP Music and Star Records releases another hit in the making. The ASAP Supah Dance Album was launched last night, October 3, at Guilly's Island in Quezon City.
The album was born out of the hour-long segment on ASAP '07, where the Kapamilya stars take to the dance floor and perform their best moves.
The album has 14 tracks, led by its carrier single "Dulce Tirah Tirah" and danced by the ASAP Ultimate Dance 4—John Prats, Maja Salvador, Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao. The dance steps for the track were choreographed by Denis Sahagun.
Expect another dance mania brought to you by Dance Prince Vhong Navarro with his "Boom Tiyaya Boom." Vhong, a Streetboys original, also made other danceable hits with Don Romantiko, "Mr. Suave" and "Chickboy."
Pinoy Big Brother fans surely wouldn't want to miss the great dance-off by Mickey Perz and Saicy Aguila. The two former housemates dance to "Stop N Go," which was choreographed by Geleen Eugenio.
New York-based Filipino songwriter and artist Andy Roda came on board and composed a dance tune for Showgirl Vina Morales titled "Real Man." He also created and sang for the track "Shake Yo Thang," danced by the energetic Gabriel Valenciano. Andy also gives a dance tune to new girl group Kitty Girls with "Dancing Naked."
Other performers for the dance album are Iya Villania with an infectious "Hip Hop Salsa;" "Booty Bump Bump," featuring Gerald Anderson; and even the Kapamilya Network's resident alien Kokey performs with "Kokey (Dance Remix)."
The enhanced CD also contains instructional videos of "Dulce Tirah Tirah," "Stop N' Go," and a bonus for Christmas dance numbers, "Kembot Xmas."
