Deftones will return to rock Manila on May 26

After holding a successful Manila leg for their 2011 Diamond Eyes tour, American band Deftones is set to return to the Philippines. The show will be part of the band’s tour in support of their recently recorded album Koi No Yokan. The one-night-only concert will be held on May 26, 2013 at the World Trade Center, the same venue of their epic 2011 concert.

The Grammy Award winning band from Sacramento, California, is composed of Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Frank Delgado, Abe Cunningham and Quicksand’s Sergio Vega filling in for bassist Chi Cheng. The band has successfully built upon their particular style of music that has been featured in movies such as "My Own Summer (Shove It)" used in The Matrix and "Change (In the House of Flies)" used in Queen of the Damned.

The 2011 Deftones concert proved to be a huge success, and it makes perfect sense to return with a new critically acclaimed album under their belt.

Released in November of last year, Koi No Yokan is the seventh album from the band. This 12-track albumwas produced by collaborator Nick Raskulinecz and contains new fan favorites such as “Leathers,” “Tempest,” and “Entombed.”
