Red Hot Chili Peppers band members arrive in Manila

Members of The Red Hot Chili Peppers (RHCP) have already arrived in Manila.

The American rock band is one of the performers in the 7107 International Music Festival to be held at the Clark Freeport Zone from February 22-23, 2014.

In his Twitter account, RHCP drummer Chad Smith shared a photo of him inside a hotel room and provided this caption: "Manila Manila Were here here !!"

The band's bassist, Flea, posted this message on his Twitter account: "hi manila! whats the greatest thing here to go do right now at 130? to eat? where do i go? what do i do? philippine me!"

Organizers have announced that the RHCP, known for hits such as "Californication" and "The Zephyr Song," will perform for 90 minutes on the second day of the music fest.

Aside from the seven-time Grammy awardee RHCP, other performers at the 7107 International Music Festival include Grammy nominated artist Kendrik Lamar, Australian electronic music duo Empire of the Sun, alternative rock band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and renowned American DJ Kaskade.

Local bands such as Up Dharma Down, Kjwan, Radioactive Sago Project, and Sponge Cola are also featured in the lineup.

The two-day music fest will take place at the 100-hectare Global Gateway Logistics City in Pampanga.
