Will Daniel Padilla go sexy in upcoming concert?

Will Daniel Padilla go sexy in his upcoming concert at the Araneta Coliseum?

The teen singer-actor answered, “Parang mas sexy ito.”

But he added with a smile: “Hindi ako ang sexy, yung mga kanta ang sexy.”

Daniel, also known by his monicker DJ, joked around with members of the media who attended the press conference for his April 30 concert titled DOS The Daniel Padilla Concert at the Big Dome.

This concert will mark the second time that Daniel will perform at the Big Dome after his sold-out Daniel Live! debut concert in 2013.

Although his physique has improved, Daniel says he isn't ready for a sexy image yet. When asked if he will be wearing sexy outfits during his concert, DJ pointed out: "Siguro yung braso ko lang po yung lumaki, pero yung tiyan ko malaki pa rin so mukhang wala muna.

Daniel, who is already considered a multiplatinum-selling recording artist, would rather focus on his acting career rather than his singing career.

When asked if he aspires to take on the title of Concert Prince, he said, “Hindi na po siguro para sa akin 'yon, sa acting na lang po ako.”

The actor considers his albums and concerts as gifts for his fans.

ON HIS IDOL RICO BLANCO. The DOS concert will be held on April 30, a few days after his 19th birthday on April 26.

He will be joined by his bandmates from Parking 5, OPM rock icon Rico Blanco, actor-singer Khalil Ramos, and The Reo Brothers (a band composed of siblings from Tacloban who survived the devastation of Super Typhoon Yolanda).

"Grabe yung kaba ko nung nag rehearsal kami, e, namasa yung kili-kili ko," DJ quipped when asked to recall his rehearsals with Rico Blanco.

Daniel revealed that he personally requested for Rico Blanco to be part of his concert.

Daniel is set to sing 16-18 classic rock songs such as “One Way or Another” by Blondie, “Something” from The Beatles and “You Really Got Me” by Van Halen.

After much prodding from the press, Daniel opened up regarding the status of his relationship with Kathryn Bernardo and the fact that they can't be officially in a relationship because of conflicts with their religion.

When asked if he was willing to convert to Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), DJ pointed out: “Sa future pa tayo makakapagdecide, tignan natin, dahil marami pa naman mangyayari.”

He then added, “Siyempre open naman ako, Diyos pa rin 'yon bakit naman aayawan?”

Since he is not in an official relationship with Kathryn, does that mean that Kathryn is allowed to be courted by someone else?

The singer-actor stressed that they remain happy despite that fact that they are not yet in a relationship.

Kathryn will be present at the DOS concert to perform a duet with Daniel, a segment that will surely up the kilig factor for all the KathNiel fans out there.

This April, Daniel is slated to release his third album under Star Records in the hopes of replicating the Double Platinum award success of his two previous albums.

Given the success of his singing career and acting career, can Daniel say that he already has everything that he wants?

Daniel assures fans that this DOS concert will be better than his first. When asked how he could compare this upcoming concert to the previous one, the teen heartthrob claimed, "Mas tigas 'tong pangalawa, dati medyo gulo-gulo, e.

Would he consider himself a better singer now?

The teen matinee idol is intent on improving his singing skills to avoid bashers .

After his Big Dome concert, Daniel is slated to perform in London, Rome, Milan and Dubai with Yeng Constantino.
