Daniel Padilla, Piolo Pascual and other OPM artists collaborate with ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra

The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra has released its debut album under Star Records titled Decades of OPM. Maestro Gerard Salonga and Star Records Audio Content Head Jonathan Manalo spearheaded the release of this 14-track album.

Bahagi ng Decades of OPM album bilang bonus track ang “Please Be Careful With My Heart” (orchestra only).

Jonathan Manalo: “Anything to do with the arrangement, and the recordings, and the conducting, lahat ng supervision to do with the orchestra pinagkatiwala ko lahat kay Gerard, kasi he is the master. I’m just here a producer and ako nag arrange about the vocals ang the artist na pwede kumanta for these album.

This is one way to educate the Filipino people with this fine music that we are offering. Malaki ang tulong ng isang Daniel Padilla at ng isang Abra to bridge that gap. Eto yung magiging starting point natin to bring this kind of music to them to let them hear it and at the same time we are educating them to bring also this kind of music to their home as they listen to this CD.”

“To perform around the Philippines. To perform for all Filipinos first here in the Philippines then we want to reach also all the Filipinos around the world.”
