As a way of giving back to Pinoy fans, Momoland will donate its earnings from an upcoming concert to Filipino kids in need.
The South Korean girl group is scheduled to perform on October 5, 2019 for the Good Friends in Manila concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
The nine-member girl group will be donating their earnings to children from barangays San Jose and Calawis in Antipolo City.
The children will be able to receive clothes and other necessities on October 25, 2019.
Momoland’s agency, MLD Entertainment, announced that the K-pop stars are also planning to hold annual charity events.
Aside from Momoland, former Wannaone members Ha Sungwoon and Kim Jaehwan will also perform in Manila.
Momoland became known in the Philippines in early 2018 for its single "Bboom Bboom," which spawned numerous dance videos.
Momoland is a South Korean girl band that was formed through the reality show Finding Momoland in 2016.
It initially consisted of 7 members: AhIn, YeonWoo, NaYun, JooE, Jane and HyeBin, and Nancy. In 2018, they added two members: Daisy and Kim Tae Ha (XIA Junsu's cousin).
