What sparked Frencheska Farr’s career was her bagging the grand champion title for the contest Are You the Next Big Star?
Now a mainstay of GMA Network’s Sunday All Stars, her new music video is surely set to fan the flames of her blossoming career.
The music video of "Let My Fire Out" was launched last January 25 at the 12 Monkeys Music Hall and Pub located inside the Century City Mall, Makati City.
Her latest single has the beats of Janet Jackson and the feel of a Shakira music vid. This is the first song she wrote as well as her first MV.
Fellow Kapuso artists were present in the event such as Glaiza de Castro, Mark Herras, Rocco Nacino, Lovi Poe, Aicelle Santos, Rita De Guzman, Winwyn Marquez, and many more.
Her fans’ club Frencheskanatics were there in full force and were very supportive not just during the song numbers of their idol, but also during the song numbers of other Kapuso performers.
Each performer did three different songs. Highlights of the night aside from Farr’s MTV and performance were Rita De Guzman’s rendition of Rihanna’s "Diamonds (In the Sky)," Aicelle Santos’ performance of her song "Ikaw Pa Rin," and Glaiza De Castro’s alternative songs while playing the guitar.
Aicelle Santos was sort of Frencheska’s mentor and she had two things to say about the song: One is that it was inspiring and two is that the song encourages people not to conform to whatever the society dictates.
Glaiza de Castro says that when she was tapped to perform for the launch, she did not hesitate. She further explained that it’s challenging for artists like her, Frencheska, Rita, and Aicelle, to produce their content but they never lose hope. There were times when they wanted to give up but seeing that there are people who believe and support them, they were encouraged to push through. Aside from promoting her music video, Frencheska also promoted Aicelle’s concert titled Class A that will happen on February 25 at the PETA Theater Center.
The song "Let My Fire Out" is now available on Itunes.
