Janno Gibbs apologizes for not showing up at Jennylyn Mercado-Dennis Trillo concert

Nag-sorry si Janno Gibbs sa hindi pagsipot sa concert nina Jennylyn Mercado at Dennis Trillo.

Ang CoLove Live concert nina Jennylyn at Dennis ay ginawa sa New Frontier Theater nitong Sabado, February 15.

Kasama si Janno sa original line-up ng guests sa unang concert ng magkasintahang Jennylyn, 32, at Dennis, 38.

Kabilang sa guests sina Carlo Aquino, Alex Gonzaga, Nyoy Volante, Jay Durias, JK Labajo, Jerald Napoles, Kim Molina, at Alden Richards.

Sa katunayan, ipinost pa nga ng 50-anyos na singer-comedian sa Instagram nitong January 17 ang tungkol sa guesting niya sa CoLove Live.

YEARS OF COLLABS

Ginamit ni Janno sa naturang post ang litrato nila ni Jennylyn nang mag-guest siya sa isang “Co-Love” episode sa YouTube channel ng singer-actress.

Napanood ang naturang episode noong November 2019.

Sa collaboration nina Jennylyn at Janno, inawit nila ang “If I’m Not In Love With You.”

Taong 2008 nang i-release ng dalawa ang cover nila ng awitin ng American singer-songwriter na si Kathy Troccoli.

Bukod dito, may cover din sina Jennylyn at Janno ng “Moments of Love” (Art of Noise), “How Do I Live” (LeAnn Rimes), at “Never Gonna Let You Go” (Sergio Mendes).

Ginamit pa nga ang "Moments of Love" cover nina Jennylyn at Janno sa pelikulang may kaparehong titulo.

Pinagbidahan nina Iza Calzado at Dingdong Dantes ang pelikula, na ipinalabas noong 2006.

Ilang taon nang nagko-collab sina Jennylyn at Janno, kaya naman maraming fans nila ang excited na nag-abang sa duet nila sa CoLove Live.

Pero hindi nakasipot si Janno sa post-Valentine’s Day concert nina Jennylyn at Dennis nitong Sabado.

Si Nar Cabico ang pumalit kay Janno para sa “Moments of Love” at "If I'm Not In Love With You" duets with Jennylyn sa concert.

Si Nar, 29, ang unang grand champion ng GMA-7 singing competition na Superstar Duets (2016).

Ang singer-actor ay malapit na kaibigan ni Jennylyn.

Sa katunayan, nag-produce si Jennylyn ng dalawang kanta para kay Nar, ang "Gaga” at "LDR."

JANNO APOLOGIZES

Sa kanyang Instagram post nitong Lunes, February 17, binati ni Janno sina Jennylyn at Dennis dahil sold-out ang CoLove Live.

Kasunod nito, humingi siya ng paumanhin sa hindi pagpunta sa concert.

Paliwanag ni Janno, nagkasakit siya sa lagareng shooting sa dalawang pelikulang tinatapos niya ngayon.

Tinawagan din daw ng singer-comedian si Jennylyn dalawang araw bago ang concert para sabihin sa dalaga na wala siyang boses at hindi makakakanta.

Saad sa kabuuang caption ni Janno (published as is):

“First of all..Congrats JenDen for a sold out successful concert!

“I would like to publicly apologize for not making it to the concert.

“Was excited to be part of this milestone.

“Unfortunately,i had been shooting 2 movies at the same time..which resulted to my getting sick.

“I called Jennylyn 2 days before the show..saying i dnt have the voice to sing our duet.

Tinanggap naman ng fans ni Janno ang paghingi niya ng paumanhin, at sinabihan siyang magpagaling.

Ito ay kahit pa ilan sa kanila ang nagsabing ang duet talaga ng singer-comedian kay Jennylyn ang inabangan nila sa concert.
