International pop singer Jason Derulo is back with a new single, "Want To Want Me," which he announced via the TODAY show.
He has recently come off a record breaking album cycle with over 16 million single sales worldwide and was considered as the most played male artist on the radio in 2014.
The first-single from his upcoming album was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Ian Kirkpatrick and written by Kirkpatrick, Sam Martin, Lindy Robbins, Mitch Allan, and Derulo himself. "Want To Want Me" is available for purchase via iTunes at http://smarturl.it/W2WME
Outside of his judging duties on this season of So You Think You Can Dance, fans can tune-in to NBC to watch Jason perform the new single at the 2nd Annual 2015 iHeart Radio Music Awards in Los Angeles on March 29.
His biggest hit-to-date and fourth most downloaded song at iTunes in 2014, "Talk Dirty" feat. 2 Chainz, is nominated for "Best Collaboration" after selling over 6 million singles worldwide and claiming the No. 1 airplay single at Top 40/Mainstream radio. The pop star's video for "Talk Dirty" has garnered over 260 million views on YouTube and was nominated at the MTV Music Video Awards and Teen Choice Awards last year.
Five years in from making his debut in pop music, Jason Derulo has sold more than 45 million records worldwide and amassed almost 1.5 billion views on his YouTube Channel. His last album spawned five platinum hits: the title track "Talk Dirty" as well as "The Other Side," "Marry Me," "Wiggle" feat. Snoop Dogg, and "Trumpets." It also gave the international entertainer his ninth Top 10 single at the Top 40 radio format and tenth platinum-selling single.
The Miami-native's career started when he was 16 years old and began writing songs for artists like Lil Wayne, Pitbull, Diddy, Sean Kingston, Cassie and Danity Kane. He was the Teen Choice Awards 2014 Choice Single Male winner and also received two additional nominations including Choice Summer Song and Choice Summer Music Star: Male.
The upbeat song "Talk Dirty" also earned him two additional nominations at the MTV Music Video Awards for Best Pop Video and Best Choreography.
