2022 witnessed the revival of Manila’s live concert scene two years after the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to stay at home and listen to music on music platforms and watch our favorite artists perform online.

All thanks to “revenge” concertgoers eager to spend their money just to see their favorite artists perform live.

Dozens of international acts—including Billy Eilish, Maroon 5, Louis Tomlinson, NIKI, Joji, Rich Brian, LANY, and many othersvisited the Philippines this year to perform for their Filipino fans.

A number of K-drama and K-Pop stars such as Ji Chang-wook, Hwang In Youp, Cha Eun Woo, Red Velvet, Tomorrow x Together, Jessi, B.I., Bambam, (G)-IDLE, and Jackson Wang, to name a few, also flew to the country to meet their Filipino fans.
