KZ Tandingan is excited for her upcoming first solo concert on April 17 at the Music Museum.

As a treat to her fans, the X Factor Philippines grand winner promises a concert that will showcase her versatility as a singer.

Although KZ can perform any music genre, she admits that hitting the high notes is still a big challenge for her.

“Hirap ako kapag ballad kapag ine-expect ng tao na dapat birit,” she confessed in an interview recently.

She added, “Pero sa genre, siguro pinakamahirap 'yong jazz.

Joining KZ in her concert are Ebe Dancel, Richard Poon, Harana Boys and other surprise guests.

PREPARATIONS. To achieve her promise to the concergoers, KZ has been preparing for the big show since last March.

'Yong iba aaralin ko pa,” she pointed out.

“I need to study all the songs.

FOCUS ON MUSIC. Since she wants to showcase her versatility as a performer, does this mean that KZ will be doing a dance number in her first solo concert?

Unknown to many, the girl from Davao was actually a member of a dance group.

If there's one thing she's confident in doing right now, KZ said it would really be singing.

As a result, the 23-year-old singer wants to focus on her music.

“As an artist, you will never settle, ito lang ang kaya ko.

“Parang every day I get to learn things.

Mayroon epekto 'yon sa nilalabas kong music,” she concluded.
