Viva heartthrob James Reid will interpret the song “Musikaw”, composed by Melchor “MC” Magno Jr., in the 4th Philippine Popular Music Festival. His onscreen tandem, Nadine Lustre, on the other hand, will interpret the song "Sa Ibang Mundo" with Kean Cipriano.

Pahayag ng Viva heartthrob, “I’m so grateful to Philpop for choosing me as one of the interpreters in this year’s competition.

“I think I’m perfect for the song because it got the RnB-dance feel, young. I think the song suits me very well. I had fun singing it.

“So, thank you MC Magno for picking me.”

HEALTHY COMPETITION WITH NADINE.

“Yeah, it’s a healthy competition.

“I think it’s nice for a change that we’re competing here because usually we’re together.

“It’s nice for a change,” ani James.

“No, no [personalan]. We support each other’s songs that are both very good. And we’re both happy to be part of Philpop.”

Sabi ni James, “Well, it’s up to the voters.

“I’m sure they’ll pick the song they loved the most because there are so many songs in this album [and competition].

“And each person can relate to each song like one person can say I like the most this song.

“But I think we’ll see where our fans loyalty stands.”

COMPETING AGAINST THE VETERANS & OTHER ARTISTS.

Aniya, “More than the pressure, I feel honored to be one of the interpreters and knowing that there are other great artists as interpreters.

“To be among them is a great opportunity and it feels good that you can consider yourself as an OPM artist through Philpop.”

Ang iba pang interpreters ay sina Jinkee Vidal para sa “Kilig” ni Soc Villanueva; Jon Santos (“Apat Na Buwang Pasko” by Gino Cruz and Jeff Arcilla); Anja Aguilar (“I Owe You My Heart” by Melvin Morallos); at sina Josh Padilla and Yassi Pressman (“Edge of the World” by Johannes Garcia).
