Nikki Bacolod records new album with Malaysian singer Min

Nikki Bacolod is surprised to see a different environment in showbiz from the last time she did a movie. The singer-actress (left) temporarily left showbiz to study Marketing Management. She is joined in this photo by Malaysian singer Min.

Bungad niya, "I went to school when I had the opportunity, I'm graduating in seven months.

I will be graduating February next year po.

"Kung babalik ulit me sa showbiz? Well, if the offer is really beautiful, why not, yeah?

"I still don't know where it takes me, pero as of now, I just wanna enjoy it, I don't think of the future muna."

Dugtong pa niya, "No regrets naman po ako, I know that show business is not forever.

"So, kailangan ko po talaga ng backup, that's why I chose to go to college and I'm taking up Marketing Management."

Aniya, "Wala naman akong frustrations sa showbiz, it's just nagkaroon lang talaga ng opening for me to go to college.

"At the time, I was still with Viva, so I talked to Tita VR [Veronique del Rosario] and Boss Vic, I asked them if they would allow me to go to college.

Saad ng 25-year-old actress-singer,"I feel so good really, kasi it's an opportunity that everyone cannot have.

"So, I feel blessed and overwhelmed na napili po ako.

"First and foremost, I love to sing and I love languages, so it's a different language and market, plus it's new culture din po.

"We can guarantee the beauty of this album 'cause everything is originally composed, so it's a must-album."

Aniya, "Kapag may Malay words na hindi ko alam, she would teach me especially kapag 'di ko alam how to pronounce it.

"Ako rin, I would teach her Tagalog words.

"Dito sa carrier single naming "Sa Iyo," parang hindi Malaysian ang ka-duet ko dahil she pronounce the words really well.

"Yeah, we became really close habang tinatapos namin itong album na ito.

"Now that she’s in the Philippines, naipasyal ko na rin siya sa Tagaytay, and she loves the Philippines."
