Filipino K-pop fans have been wanting to see EXO perform in Manila.
This year, Pinoy EXO-Ls (fan club name) will be able to see them once again as the all-male K-pop group is set to rock the SM Mall of Asia Arena on January 23 and 24, 2016.
EXO is currently composed of nine members namely: D.O., Chanyeol, Sehun, Kai, Chen, Lay, Suho, Baekhyun, and XiuMin.
This is the group's third time to visit the Philippines. The first was in 2012 for the Dream K-pop Fantasy concert at the SM Mall of Asia Concert grounds and in 2013 for the KPOP Republic concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
Most EXO fans know how these silly pop stars can turn into fierce performers on stage. The members are known not just for their pretty faces and strong vocals but also for their impressive dancing skills. "Growl" from XOXO Repackaged (2013)
"Growl" is probably the biggest hit of EXO, so far. The song, which draws its influences to Hip-Hop and R&B, was released as the lead single of the repackaged edition of their first full-length studio album titled XOXO released in 2013. The music video for the song has received 87,459,531 views on Youtube, as of writing. The album has been released in two editions: Korean (Kiss Edition) and Mandarin (Hug edition). Collectively, over 1.2 million copies of the albums have been sold worldwide.
"Overdose" from Overdose EP (2014).
"Overdose" is EXO's title track for their third mini-album released in 2014. This is EXO's second best-selling album which has sold more than 700,000 copies around the world. To date, the music video for the song has garnered over 87,133,327 views on YouTube.
"Call Me Baby" from Exodus (2015)
EXO opened 2015 with the release of "Call Me Baby" from their second full-length studio album titled Exodus. Over 800,000 digital copies of the songs have been sold and peaked at No. 1 and No. 2 spot in Chinese and Korean music charts, respectively. The song was also included on Billboard Canada's Hot 100. Currently, the song garnered over 69,152,990 views on YouTube.
"Wolf" from XOXO (2013)
"Wolf" is EXO's lead single for their second studio album titled XOXO. The song reached the No. 2 spot in Gaon Music Charts and peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. In an interview, former member Kris said that it took them around four months to polish the choreography because of its difficulty. Currenlty, the music video of the song has garnered over 64,405,880 on YouTube.
"History" from MAMA (2012)
"History" is one of EXO's prologue single for their official debut in 2012. The song reached No. 86 on the Gaon Music Chart and No. 4 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart. The song registered over 44,888,491views for the music video on YouTtube.
"Mama" from MAMA (2012)
"Mama" is EXO's debut lead single in 2012. The song peaked at No. 46 on the Gaon Singles Chart in South Korea. The music video was released in April 2012 following the release of their prologue songs "What Is Love?" and "History." Currently, the music video has over 38,817,248 views on YouTube.
"Love Me Right" from Love Me Right - EXODUS repackaged (2015)
After "Call Me Baby," EXO came out with a new single in 2015 titled "Love Me Right" for the repackaged edition of their EXODUS album. The song has sold about 625,000 digital copies in South Korea. It became their second No. 1 song on the Gaon Music Chart after "December, 2014 (The Winter's Tale)." The music video for the song received over 38,318,821 views on YouTube.
"Miracles in December" from Miracles In December EP (2013)
"Miracles in December" is the group's title track for their special winter album in 2013. The song was performed by Chen, Baekhyun, and D.O. and like their other promo songs, topped charts in different countries including China, South Korea, and Japan. The music video for this song has over 24,515,024 views on YouTube.
"What Is Love" from MAMA (2012)
"What is Love" is EXO's prologue single available via digital download in January 2012 before the album's official release in April. The song is performed by the group's main vocalists: D.O. and Baekhyun for the Korean version, and Chen and former member Luhan for the Mandarin version. Currently, the music video for the song recorded more than 19,168,338 views on YouTube.
"Baby Don't Cry" from XOXO (2013)
EXO did not release a music video for "Baby Don't Cry" but the song received positive remarks from their fans around the world and even charted on several music charts. The song peaked at No. 2 on Baidu.com's Weekly Music Charts and No. 55 on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. Only four members of the band performed the song (Suho, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, and D.O). The band's performance of the song for the KBS' Global Request Show: A Song For You has reached over 12,726,270 views on YouTube.
