After holding her successful Dreams Never End concert and a series of shows in Canada, Glaiza de Castro is paying it forward by doing a benefit concert on Sunday, January 24, at Valenzuela City People’s Park Amphitheater.
Dubbed as #28: Goals. Dreams. Compassion, the concert will also be her 28th birthday celebration with avid fans.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and GMA News during her birthday charity, Glaiza explained why she opted to have benefit concert on her birthday, "Nabuo 'yon kasi last year, after Dreams Never End, parang ang daming nagtatanong kung mayroong ibang follow up or kung mayroong part two or repeat.
"Sabi ko, parang di ko pa yata kakayanin na ganun kadikit kasi October, 'tapos nagkaroon kami ng show noong November to December sa Canada.
"Sabi ko, 'yong preparation, ayaw kong maulit yung nagka-cram tayo. So, instead of producing another big concert, why don't we do a benefit gig."
Glaiza also said that she has received a lot of blessings in 2015 so she wanted to give back to her supporters.
"Sabi ko kasi lahat ng nangyari noong 2015 ay sobrang ganda, e, beyond my expectations.
"Siyempre, kapag binibigyan ka ng sobra, di ba, parang dapat magbigay ka rin.
"Kasi, minsan hindi mo maisip kung bakit ka binibigyan ng ganung klaseng blessing o ganun kalaking blessing.
"Parang it came to a point na binibigyan ako ng ganito para rin i-share."
