Why would anyone name a band as Kaleidoscope Eyes?
Here's the not-so-perfect explanation from the band's guitarist Joshua Blay:
"We're like, totally different people in the same band. Kind of like...a kaleidoscope."
Aside from Joshua, KE or Kaleidoscope Eyes is composed of Gab Cabangon (who plays the guitar and sings), Gab Palanca who plays the bass while Nash Ignacio is in charge of percussion.
What differentiates KE or Kaleidoscope Eyes from the rest?
"Ito kasi yun, tsong. Iba-iba panlasa namin. Mapa-sweet, mapa-alat, mapa-asim o mapa-rakenrol--we just can't see ourselves sticking to one genre," says Joshua.
"Simply put: KE - Kaleidoscope Eyes defines our music. Iba-iba ang kulay, minsa'y naghahalo-halo na pero masarap at masaya pa rin pakinggan."

"Mahal, na mahal talaga kita"
Joshua says about this song, "As the name itself implies, this one's the cheesiest in the bunch. This was written and composed by Gab Cabangon and Noel Acosta way before KE-Kaleidoscope Eyes was formed. If this song ain't overflowing with cheese, then I don't know what is. You should probably call us Quatro Formaggio from now on."

"Humihingi lang ako ng katahimikan"
Joshua points out: "Minsan, ang buhay ay parang kapitbahay. Todo ang karaoke, mapa-gabi man o mapa-araw. Gusto mo lang naman matulog. Hassle, ano? May solusyon kami diyan. MORE NOISE. THIS IS PROBABLY THE NOISIEST SONG IN THE ALBUM. SERIOUSLY. AS IN. MAPAPA-ALL-CAPS KA."

Gwapo Lang Pinagbibigyan
“Wala siyang paki-alam sa iyo”
Joshua believes listeners will get #feels from this composition.
"The title song of the album. Wanna know why? Ubod ng hugot ang kanta na ‘to. Girl or boy, relate na relate ka kaagad sa title! Bakit nga ba?"
