Alden Richards has marked another milestone in his career by receiving a Quadruple Platinum award for his album, Wish I May.
The 11-track album earned a Gold Record Award before it was released digitally last October 17, 2015.
Alden was given the award after his performance in the February 28 episode of Sunday Pinasaya.
“Malaki po ang pasasalamat ko sa Diyos sa pagbibigay sa akin ng mga mabubuting tao sa likod ko yung mga sumusuporta.
“Maraming salamat po for giving me the trust, GMA Records po sa mga sumusuporta po sa akin sa Aldenatics at sa AlDub Nation. At siyempre kay Maine [Mendoza], thank you,” said Alden when he received the award during SPS.
Atty. Marivic Benedicto, the chairman of the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), and GMA Records A&R Manager Mr. Kedy Sanchez were the ones who handed the award while SPS co-hosts Ai-Ai delas Alas and Jerald Napoles looked on.
Last December 20, Alden earned the Double Patinum Award for the same album while the Triple Platinum Award was given to him on January 31.
Wish I May was able to reach Quadruple Platinum status in a span of four months.
The Instagram account of GMA Records posted a photo of Alden holding his latest award with the caption: "Congrats, Ultimate Bae @aldenrichards02!
"After 4 months since release date, #4XPlatinum na ang #WishIMayAlbum mo! Salamat sa lahat ng mga sumusuporta sa kanyang latest album."
