Yael Yuzon reveals the inspiration for the song "Makapiling Ka," which he wrote when he was 14 years old.



In time for Mother’s Day, Spongecola offers a sweet ‘harana” for all the moms out there. In their new Mother’s Day video,  Yael, Armo, Gosh, and T-mac serenade us with the a song that shows the universal beauty of love in “Makapiling Ka.”

In the video, Yael Yuzon recalled that he created this song when he was only 14 years old. "It's a love song for my mom from the perspective of my dad. Coz they were kind of in a long-distance [relationship] since my mom was a flight attendant."
