Claudia: “Well, music of course, different music. I think it’s gonna be a little bit different compared to anyone else, ‘coz I want my music to be influenced by both R&B and pop, so it’ll be different. I want music that is easy in the ears, to be light, and right now, were currently looking for songwriters that I can collaborate with, ‘coz songwriting is something I haven’t explored yet, so let’s see how it goes.”

Claudia: “Because, for the longest time, I’d been really shy, and I knew back then, I really wanted to be a singer. I was a bit more private. I like everything private, but now, just recently, I feel like I really have to do this, and I need to break that privacy, to make me very happy.”

Claudia: “Coz I like music more, and I feel like being an artist, you have to give up way more time, give up studies, and give up everything, because right now, I’m still not yet ready to let go of that completely. Music kasi, is more flexible, and I really just love singing, a lot, and I never tried acting before, and I don’t know if I can do it, ‘coz it’s something that I’m not very sure of yet.”

Claudia: “No! Kasi even now, I haven’t been doing anything we’ve been compared na. But I feel like, it doesn’t really affect us, ‘coz we’ve been very supportive with each other, rooting with each other, and there’s no sense of competition.”

Claudia: “You know, she’s always very supportive, like she always listens to me when I tell her my dreams and she encourages me to do it.”

Talking about the contract, ano yung nakapaloob sa kontrata mo with Universal Records? How many years and how many albums?

Claudia: “I don’t know how many albums but I know it is a two-year contract.”

Claudia: “Among songwriter/singers, I want to be with Yeng Constantino. ‘Coz she’s very talented, she writes her own music and she could sing. I don’t want to work with people that I don’t really like, I want someone that I could approach. And I want to work also with Sam Concepcion, ‘coz I love his sound, I love his music, and he’s a friend of ours too.”

Are you ready for intrigues and bashers when you enter showbiz?

Claudia: “Yeah, I think so, it comes with what I want to do, so I have to live with it.”

Claudia: “We’ll see. We really haven’t talked about it, and I really want to focus on music for now, but I’m not closing any doors for any opportunities that come my way.”

Are you planning to have concert also kung bigyan ng pagkakataon?

Claudia: “Yeah, of course. I wanted to sing with so many people and that’s the dream of every musician.”
