Jennylyn Mercado hopes she will get her own concert in 2017.

She revealed this during the recent album launch for her sixth studio album titled Ultimate, Jennylyn Mercado. Released under Ivory Music, this album reached the No. 1 spot on its first day of release on iTunes--the only OPM album to achieve this feat so far.

Her seven-track album features the carrier single 'Hagdan' and collaborations with Christian Bautista for a remake of 'Suddenly' and 'Bulalakaw' with Silent Sanctuary. Other tracks include 'Nakaw-tingin,' 'Huling Paalam,' 'Lampara,' and 'Magkaibang Mundo.'

When asked if there are plans for her to have her own concert, Jennylyn said, "Wala pa. Hopefully next year sana."

For her Ultimate album, Jennylyn said she had an international artist as a peg but she did disclose the identity.

The Kapuso actress differentiated herself from ABS-CBN actress Maja Salvador.

This year, Jennylyn will topbill GMA-7's remake of the Koreanovela My Love From the Star.

She says management has already chosen her leading man but she could not yet disclose his identity.
