Alden Richards launches Say It Again album; dedicates Diamond Record award to his late mother

After receiving his Diamond Record Award for his album Wish I May, Alden Richards launched his second album titled Say It Again.

After he received the Diamond Award for his album Wish I May, Alden Richards successfully launched his second album under GMA Records titled Say It Again.

Alden treated his fans to an album launch show yesterday, October 9, at Market! Market! in Taguig.

The crowd greeted him with cheers when he came out on stage.

Alden performed his upbeat single "Say It Again," the first song released from his new album.

The Pambansang Bae also performed his original single "Rescue Me." According to the GMA-7 actor, it was the first time that he performed it live.

Fans also saw for the first time the official lyric music video of Alden before he performed it on stage.

Also included in his new album, Alden performed his own rendition of "Your Guardian Angel" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. He described his version as "makaputol-litid."

Alden disclosed that "Your Guardian Angel" used to be his favorite song when he was in high school.

After Alden's performances of the songs from his album, he was again congratulated for receiving a Diamond Record Award for his album Wish I May. He first received the plaque in the Ocotber 9 episode of Sunday Pinasaya.

He told audiences, "Kanina po nataranta talaga ako kasi hindi ko inexpect 'tong Diamond record." He then thanked all his fans and said that he dedicates his award to his late mother.

To express his gratitude to his fans, Alden performed for his last song his first single "Wish I May," saying that he would have not earned the Diamond Record Award without his supporters.

Alden also went down from the stage to greet his fans, members of the press, and his family members including "Daddy Bae" Richard Faulkerson, Sr. who was at the audience area.

The Eat Bulaga co-host was even shocked to see his family members watching his show.

Before Alden's performances, Kapuso singer James Wright was the first to sing on stage. He did his own rendition of "Perfect Strangers" and his original song "Sana'y Ikaw," which was released in 2014. It can be remembered that it was the theme song of Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw which starred Marian Rivera and Alden as her leading man.

The Kapuso boyband T.O.P. (Top One Project) then performed "Treasure" by Bruno Mars, "Ikaw na Nga" by Willie Revillame, and their original single "Paggising." The boy group is gearing up for their first major concert on October 28 at the Music Museum.

Alden's family showed full support for the Pambansang Bae.

Alden's seven-track album Say It Again includes four original tracks namely "Say It Again," "Rescue Me," "You Got Somebody," and "I Dare You," and three inspirational tracks: "One Way," "Your Guardian Angel," and "To The Ends of the Earth."
