Lovi Poe to hold concert and release new album

Lovi Poe will have a major concert at the Music Museum on October 16, coinciding with the release of her new album titled Bloom. She will then perform in Singapore this November.

Magkakaroon ng first major concert si Lovi Poe sa Music Museum on October 16 titled Lovi Bloom at the Music Museum in Greenhills. The concert is being produced by Dream Concert Asia Entertainment and directed by Joven M. Tan. After her one night concert, dadalhin din daw ito sa Singapore by November of this year. As early as now, nagpi-prepare na raw siya for the said concert at hindi na raw mawala ang excitement niya.

Aside from that, kasabay na rin nito ang release ng kanyang second album under Sony BMG, ang Bloom kunsaan, ilan sa mga kanta ay composition niya mismo.

Feeling daw niya, she's back with her first love, which is singing. "My first album was okay naman but there was a time na naging focus ako sa acting ko. But now, I feel like I'm back with my first love which is singing. And I think, it's a transformation for me. I did my first album when I was sixteen or seventeen. Now, nineteen na ko, I'm happy na iba na ‘yung maririnig ng mga tao, mas matured na. Ibang Lovi na," simula nga niyang pahayag.

Ano ang nakikita niyang difference ng concert niya ngayon from her concert before at Teatrino Greenhills?

"I think, the difference is that I think my music. I was younger then, parang teeny-bopper. But this time, it's something that I'm really into. ‘Yung mga songs, mga experiences ko."

May pagka-hands-on din daw siya sa nalalapit niyang concert especially with her repertoire kunsaan, most on the list are her choices.

"Actually, nag-meeting kami sa mga songs which is good kasi, ako ang pumipili sa mga songs at mas kumportable ako sa ganoon."

Ilan daw sa mga songs na siguradong mapapanood at mapapakinggan na kakantahin niya sa Lovi Bloom ay mga songs from her new album like the Carpenters medley at ilan sa sinulat niya for her new album na ang nag-arrange naman daw ay si Ogie Alcasid, ang "Paulit-ulit."

Magkahalong kaba at excitement nga raw ang nararamdaman niya dahil 18 years old pa raw siya since she performed in a big crowd, ito nga ay ‘yung Teatrino concert pa niya.

"It's been so long since I sang in a lot of people, siguro mga mall shows, mga gigs, but then, my own show for like a lot of songs, the last time I did it, eighteen birthday ko pa. At mas konti pa ‘yung tao noon but this time, it's Music Museum.

"But I'm happy na nagawa ko ‘yung eighteen songs noon and I hope, magawa ko rin ‘yun ngayon."

Gusto sana ni Lovi na maging maganda ang experience ng mga taong manonood ng kanyang concert. "I want the people to go out at paglabas nila, gusto kong ma-feel nila na you're like on a different place because you we're touched by the music. Gusto ko ganoon ang mangyari. Hopefully, I can achieve that."

The daughter of Fernando Poe Jr. is into different genres such as pop and pop rock. Some of Lovi's guests are Ogie Alcasid, Jay-R, Dennis Trillo, Jan Nieto and Will Devaughn.
